The History

At Deerborn Cabins you will experience the difference of a family owned and operated resort

built by our Father and Grandfather.  They spent 3 years every weekend clearing the land and using the logs to build the cabins that exist today.  With more hard work and modern upgrades, we carry on the family tradition of adding a personal touch to our cabins which are maintained as though we lived in them ourselves.

Lake Huron

...and many inland lake fishing sites, excellent steelhead, salmon, walleye, perch and trout fishing.

Location:

We are located in Northeast Michigan on the West side of Hwy 23, across the road from Lake Huron.  We are 10 miles North of East Tawas; 4 miles South of Oscoda, where the AuSable River flows into beautiful Lake Huron.
